Interventional Pain Management with Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a substance naturally found in normal synovial joint fluid. It helps lubricate the joints and provides shock absorption. In people with osteoarthritis, the amount and effectiveness of HA within the joint can decrease.
Hyaluronic acid is injected directly into the affected joint. Hyaluronic Acid Injections can be used in the knee, hip, ankle and foot, as well as the shoulder, elbow and wrist. The treatment helps replenish HA within the joint, supporting lubrication and shock absorption.
The treatment process:

A series of three injections administered 1-2 weeks apart.

Performed under sterile CT guidance by our experienced doctors.

The procedure typically takes 10-15 minutes
(Patients can generally drive afterwards).

The maximum effect is observed approximately 8 weeks after the initial injection.

In general, one course of 3 injections has been shown to provide up to 6 months of pain relief.

Treatment can be performed twice a year.
